Client Issue

Cuerden Leisure Piers and Arcades is the arcade operating brand of Cuerden Leisure and have existed and been highly respected within the holiday and leisure industry since 1984. In order to achieve their business objectives they needed to develop effective leaders, throughout the organisation, capable of achieving significant change, delivering results and taking people with them.

Solution

They realised that a leadership development programme would be essential if the business wanted to develop people quickly and effectively.

Our programme helped them understand that good leadership can a big part of the solution. It was also important that we reinforced that the way in which we lead must fit with their values and reinforce the organisation's culture.

In addition, they had a relatively new Management team who had not worked together long. This management team had a mix of experiences and abilities. In order to improve delivery, in a consistent manner and start to make strides towards the business goals, the team needed to embed effective working, build trust and relationships, live the culture and ensure solid management team foundations.

End Positive Outcome

redsky built on the skills and capabilities already evident and took these to the next level. In addition we focused the management team's performance and capability, as a whole, and developed the team's competence and ability to work together to achieve their individual and business goals.
